Former ex Labor Minister, John Dawkins fall from grace over his involvement with failed training college, Vocation

John Dawkins has paid the price for the part he played in the demise of Vocation. Vocation was the ASX listed company that owned several Registered Training Organisations including CSIA, BAWM Group and Avana. It’s fate was sealed when the Victorian Government suspended its funding contracts, something Dawkins and other directors failed to advise the companies investors about. Dawkins has subsequently been disqualified from holding directorships for two years and fined $25,000.
